DO YOU PERFORM RELIGIOUS OR NON-RELIGIOUS CEREMONIES?
Yes, I have performed lovely ceremonies for either preferences. Part of the ceremony process will involve me listening to your wants and desires for YOUR wedding day! I would be happy incorporate religious elements in the ceremony and/or comfortable to reflect your values & beliefs, whatever they may be, even if we walk different life paths. I aim to ensure that the ceremony respects both of your families and traditions, while also genuinely focusing on who you are as a couple. Striking the right balance is very important to me.

ARE YOU A LEGAL MINISTER?
Yes. We are in an odd time and age where folks can do a "one-click" online moment and become "ordained". Making sure your Officiant is LEGAL is important! I am a legally licensed and ordained Minister. I decided that I love my job so much that I jumped through the hoops and have proudly obtained my ordination. Legally, I'm Reverend J. Webb and this allows me to perform court-upheld ceremonies throughout the United States.

DO YOU OFFICIATE SAME-SEX CEREMONIES?
Yes, I support marriage equality and would be honored to be given the opportunity to legally marry same-sex couples.

WHAT ABOUT DESTINATION WEDDINGS...
ARE YOU WILLING TO TRAVEL?
Of course! I have been bitten by the wanderlust bug. I enjoy seeing different places and experiencing different cultures.

WOULD YOU HIKE UP A MOUNTIAN WITH US?
Yes! Outdoor ceremonies are some of my favorite. I am happy to hike to whatever location you and your Beloved choose. Just pack extra snacks. Ha!

If visiting from out of town, I'm happy to share some "incredible view" locations. Another tip: Ask you photog as they will have some great ideas too!

6.
HOW DO WE OBTAIN A NORTH CAROLINA WEDDING LICENSE?
Each couple is responsible for obtaining their own legal marriage license...for ANY CEREMONY (includes elopements & larger weddings). This begins at any NC Register of Deeds office and is a pretty simple process. I will help answer questions during each couple's consultation call.

7.
DO I HAVE A BACK-UP PLAN IN CASE I HAVE AN EMERGENCY AND CAN'T MAKE YOUR CEREMONY?
Yes, always! I do have a list of lovely Officiants that I trust to help me out (& vice-versa). You will get married! The substitute Officiant would have instant access to your personal ceremony. I would be in clear communication of what the emergency is. I take your wedding day experience very seriously, so it is important to have this plan in place for everyone’s peace of mind.
8.
DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?
Yes. I require a $150 deposit at the time of booking (Your LOVE STORY - Custom CEREMONY) or the full amount of $250 (for BETTER THAN THE COURTHOUSE- EXPRESS ELOPEMENTS). The remaining balance due within 48 hours your wedding date. I don't have a preference on the payment plan that you care to make, as long as it's paid in full before your wedding...because nobody wants a bill on their wedding day!

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
After living through a pandemic, I understand that life can throw us some, crazy curve-balls. I explain specific details in the simple contract that we all sign during a booking, but in short, I ask that IF a situation arises, to please be in clear communication with me about what your needs are. I always strive to respect you and understand that uncontrollable circumstances sometimes arise but similarly, I desire respect for my time and efforts too...if it's at all possible, let's reschedule soon!
